Partial Payments

The ability to apply partial payments to an account requires a Line Item Account type and the selection of the “Accept Partial Payments” checkbox in the Control Panel.

Line Item Account Types

The Account type is selected when an account is set up. A Line Item type of account allows you to apply payments to specific invoices as opposed to the overall account balance.

Control Panel Option for Partial Payments

Partial payments require the “Accept Partial Payments” option to be selected on the Control Panel tab.
